Hi all, new to the forum and have an important question. The 5 speed tranny in my 94 3.0 ranger doesn't have a whole lot of life left, I can't even down shift without grinding. And I have a near junk 91 f250 with a 5.0 and an e4od tranny. On craigslist there's a 1990 f250 7.3 idi for only $850, needs tranny but will drive home in 2nd. My question is this, will the e4od tranny in the 5.0 swap out to the 7.3? I know both motors used the tranny but will the bellhousing bolt up and if so, will the 5.0 torque converter work also? The 7.3 is an auto and I'm not forgetting about the ranger, love it too much and will be fixed. Thanks
