89 250 Automatic Stalls When Turned Sharp

89 F250 Lariet 460 Automatic stalls when turned sharp and then proceeds to act as if the battery is dead but will eventually fire up after a few tries...I’m assuming a loose connection any ideas on where/what to check 1st?

Welcome to the site..

Almost sounds like a combination of issues.
Whats the engine tach/Idle speed?
Any CEL? (Check engine light)
Was common for throttle body, IAC ( idle Air Control solenoid/motor) to become gummed up causing a lower than spec idle RPM. Brakes applied, steering pump load added etc would/could stall the engine if the IAC couldn’t recover engine speed.
For the cranking, just cranking too slow? Click or ? Has the battery been load tested? What is the CCA (Cold Cranking Amp rating) of the batt, and how old?
Amp draw test on the starter?
If engine temps are higher, battery is older or is a lower amp rating, it can have affect on cranking speeds. And of course condition of the connections, incorrect engine timing as well. Or a combination of...
Starter solenoid as well, if it gets hot from a weak/ high draw starter, it can rob current for available cranking capability.
It’s not running higher than normal engine temps?
Many things can cause cranking issues, the more we know, the better..
