'95 T-Bird Auto Shifter (sloppy)

Hello all...new to the site... I tried to search but I couldn't find the answer. I have a 1995 Thunderbird....3.8....auto....and I need to replace the shifter asembley. My question is...what is the range of years I need to look for? I know where there is a '90....but will that work??? I thank everyone for there input.......

Not absolutely sure, probably the easiest way to tell if they'd swap, or without to much 'adjusting' would be to call Ford parts and have them look up the part number/s applications, or call a dismantler and have them look it up in thier interchange book, or database..

Interchange books are great (but they're like $100 a piece so don't count on everyone having them). If you can't find out just look at these things: 1. Shifter mounts in identical position in car. 2. Shifter mounts to transmission in identical (or nearly identical) positioning. 3. Shifter in car - mounts with same number of fasteners. 4. Shifter on transmission - mounts with same fasteners. There's usually not too much change as long as the body style is similar and the year is close (although I'd be cautious of slight changes over a 5 year span that could rule it out as a donor).
