96 Crown Vic LX - remote entry system?
How can I tell if the 1996 Ford Crown Victoria LX has this as an available option? The purchased the car from someone that was selling it for their deceased grandfather, and he said he couldn't fine a remote key fob, but he couldn't say for certain that they never had one. Thanks.

Try this,,
With the key in the ignition,,
Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN (without cranking the engine) '8 times' within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN (again, don't start the engine or turn to OFF). All doors should lock then unlock to confirm programming mode. Do the locks cycle?
