96 Ranger v6 3.0 Check engine light code (emissions)
 

Im trying to smog my truck.

BUt i have check engine light on. I ran the code its
p1441 manufactuer emissions auxiliary emissions control...
So i did research online.
Came across it meaning..
evaporative emissions (evap) system flow during non-purge.


Anyone know what can cause this.

I feel it has stuff to do with the evap canister. and or canister purge control soleniod. I dont want to buy both unless needed. Does anyone have any ideas or know how to fix this problem.
