97 Ford Aspire Coil Springs substitute
 

I have a (7 Ford Aspire and as the title states need a front coil spring replaced as it has broken. This part is not available anymore according to parts places. I need to know if there is a suitable substitute for it? I have heard that the Kia Rio spring will work but it was in a forum that stated the Rio was a 2001.
