99 digital odometer problems

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone could tell me the location of the specific fuse that controls the digital odometer. Mine is acting funny. It appears as though the connection is loose and goes in and out. Is there any known electrical problems for the 99 f150 super cab?
Thanks

I have the same problem on my '99 Expedition. You're not alone. It's a cold solder on the back of the instrument cluster. There's a detailed post with directions and pictures on ford-trucks.com. It has had over 50 posts over the last 18 months. Go to: http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=196821

Personally, i wouldn't fix the problem right away. i had a friend who intentionally caused this on his car by disconecting that circuit to minimize the mileage he put on, upping the resale value. but it shouldn't be too expensive a fix at the dealer, although it may take a while since they usually in my experience need to call in an outside contractor to work with the odometer, legal thing.
