breaking problem when towing an rv
 

I have a 2005 f-250 4x4 harley davision 6.0 diesel.....on a resent rv trip i was going along and had to stop rather quickly,front driver side wheel locked up ,smoke coming from wheel/break area....just replaced pads only on all wheels...truck has 1000 miles on pads...took truck to a tire and break center,they inspected all wheels said there is nothing wrong with trucks breaks...its the rv ,the setting on the factory installed breaker was set on 10...when this happened didn't see that it was set this high...pulled over ,founded nothing wrong but the front rim very hot...thats when i found the setting set on 10....lowered it to 6.0....drove another 2 hours with stopping and going....no more problem...after the tire and break center said the truck was ok,i took it to a rv center...they said its the truck.....i am lost...anybody got anything....please help
