CD won't eject from headset unit
 

Has any one ever come across a situation where the factory CD player does not seem to realize that it has a Cd installed.. It wont eject, nor will it play. Any suggestions, or do I have to go find another head unit?

I had that problem on an aftermarket stereo...try taking out the radio and looking for a small hole on the side or on the back, if there is one, that is a reset button pushing it might work...you could also try taking out the fuse in the fuse box for a minute then put it back in....if neither of these work, your cd player is DEAD

i have a 2000 ranger that i am looking to get rid of the fac. cd player if you want pm me when you want and we can work something out as far as selling my cd player.
