My 1998 Ford Escort I am getting a Code DTC P1518 "Intake Manifold Runner Stuck Open" (Bank 1 ) How can I fix this ? And where is it?

You need to remove the intake manifold and it is an electrical device that controls the amount of air that flows through the intake to help atomize the fuel. I tried to copy repair procedure to post here, but it would not let me do it. The IMRC is a square looking thing that has a wiring connector on it. If you look around the intake manifold you will see it. It is between the intake and the head.
