CODE P0401 DTC
 

2001 Expedition 2WD, 4.6L - I have changed the EGR Sensor and replaced the EGR Control Valve. I have reset the check engine light via the code reader and the light came back on within 20 minutes. Also I've removed the EGR valve and applied vacuum to it and verified that it is moving. I'm still getting the code for insufficient EGR flow. Any suggestions?

Remove the egr and spray gumout in the passages. And inspect for vacuum leak's.

Replace the DPFE sensor and also make sure the 2 hoses going to it are not plugged.
