recently bought a 2014 fiesta with auto trans - supposedly the dual clutch is a sort of manual auto hybrid to improve gas mileage. Daughter is now occasionally experiencing shakiness at low speeds when starting from a stopped position...


I have now seen a lot of negative commentary at other sites about the Fiesta and Focus transmission and am concerned she could have a breakdown when travelling cross country...


What I would like to know is whether it is normal for the dual clutch type trans to be a little rough or noisy at times as compared to a conventional automatic.
