Hi!

I am having problems locating the DPFE sensor on a 93 grand marquis and thought I'd give it a go here. Anyone have an idea as to where it's located?

I have looked around the engine, firewall and found nothing.

I keep getting the following codes when running the self test (OBD I):

KOEO -
327
636

KOER -
116
636
327
536
632

I am at my wits end on trying to find it, I have read on a few sites as to how it may be "dirty" and figured on checking it.

Look down behind the intake just to the passenger side of center. It will be located on a bracket that is sort of hard to get to.

 

After posting yesterday, I went out and scratched my head for another hour or so, and finally found the darn thing.

Seems to be okay, don't see any deposits in it or anything like that, sounds like it may be an EGR issue (another difficult part to get to - thanks ford!).
