emission light - 2002 ford taurus
 

I have a 2002 taurus with only 40,000 miles. I bought it about a month ago. My emission light (check engine) came on about a week ago. I ran the code and pulled up code P1132 and P1152 and the computer stated manufacturers control, fuel air metering. The car has been ideling rough especially at stop lights when I'm just getting started in the morning. It also seems like I am getting horible gas milage, though this may be my imagination due to these ridiculouse gas prices. Any ideas on what this is so I can tell my boyfriend and he can fix it for me?????:) thank jennifer

I would take it to ford for service. I dont tkink there is any quick fixes for this.

Not sure what the problem is... or the solution...
but the first thing you should do is reset the check light and

(1) see if the same codes return
(2) and see how long it takes for them to return.

This may help determine the consistency and severity
of the problem. It could be intermittent or it could
even be a false trigger.
