engine vibrates during acceleration

New to forums. 93 Taurus idles good, no check engine light, but engine has a slight miss/sputter during heavier accleration (i.e. climbing inclines, entering freeways). I've already changed fuel filter, used fuel inj. cleaners, air filter, new coil, newplugs/wires/cap/rotor twice in 12 months (just out of curiosity). My heater door flapper (inside duct) changes directions during heavier acceleration as well (can't find leak in vacuum lines). Any help would be appreciated.

RE: engine vibrates during acceleration

Does this have the 3.8 Essex engine? You may be starting to experience the dreaded head gasket failure.
