Default exhaust problems

o1 f-350 I talked to some people about this just curios I have a catalitic converter on my truck is this normal or not. 2 guys have them. and 2 don't. the ones that don't have an 01 and an 00 and I saw one on on 03 6.0 anyone know if this is normal? and could this make vehicle loss power is clogged. that was suggested to me by a friend.

The laws very from state to state. There are different breaks in the US for one ton and up trucks. They say the new design cats don't reduce power output. I think there full of crap. They can plug up in time. I would take the pipe off behind the cat and drive a bar thru the cat until you break the core apart inside. Start her up and blow out the core pieces out then recheck for any core pieces still attached. Clean them out and you done. It will run and sound better afterwards.
