Ive got a 1993 f150 5.0 v8 302 and the check engine light comes on 10-15 minutes after driving, when i turn it off it resets then the same thing happens when i drive it next. I think it might be an O2 sensor or some kind of sensor but im not sure and dont wana replace it and have it not work...anyone know what it could be?

 

have you checked all of the fluid levels?

 

Take the car to autozone or any place that will scan the Check engine light codes. Its better to get an idea of what may be wrong instead of just guessing.

 

Since yours id pre OBDII, go to the following link to retrieve the codes. Let us know what you get.
