hi i have a ford fiesta LX 1995 and when i start up it revs up to 3000revs then i must blip the throttle 8 times then it will drop down to the standard tick over speed (500 revs) but when you go to drive it the car my race off [:-] but when you press the clucth in to change gear the car will rev up with your foot off the throttle i have been told that it may be the throttle control switch does any one have any ideas where this part could be and a rough price on how much it would cost me

 

Have you tried JCWHitney or your local auto shops (Pepboys, Kraigen etc...)
