Hello all,
Im experiencing a problem with my ford xg ute.
My wipers wouldnt turn off, so i assumed it was the relay.
I bought a relay and replaced it, now wen i turn my wipers on the fuse pops.
So i thought it might have been the switch, i disconnected the cables that run up to the switch.
Same problem.
so i removed the relay and replacde the fuse, the wipers work, and they also switch off.(not good to use wipers without relay)
So with the relay off and the fuse in and the wipers set to the OFF possition, i tested the relay socket. the middle pin and the right pin both have 12v.
I then removed the fuse and tested for a short circuit between those two pins, there was.

SO thats where i am at, and i cant get my wipers to work properly.
HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
