I suspect that my GEM module for my 2000 Expedition needs replaced.
I've read that the ECU needs reflashed after this is accomplished.
Question is, how is the ECU reflashed? If I have to take it to a dealer to have this
done anyway, I may as well bite the bullet & have them replace the GEM.
Any thoughts?

 

WHAT GEM MOUDULE. IF YOU GET THE SAME ONE DEPENDING ON IT'S FUCTION YOU SHOULD JUST BE ABLE TO PLUG IT IN , gem is just short for generic eletronic moulde so it can do many things .
