Inspection Tech checklist
 

Hey guys,

I was looking to buy a used ford from out of state. I wanted to go with AiM Mobile Inspection who does a 150-point inspection + test drive and sends you a report. I was wondering if any of the tech guys in here could give me an idea if the 150-point inspection is a good gauge of the quality of the vehicle. You can google them and they have examples listed on their site.

There are other inspection services as well so if anyone has any insights on either please let me know. Thanks!

125-150 + test drive are excellent terms for determining vehicle value and quality. everything from the dash to the brakes would be inspected with details of the specs. it's up to you to determine if the numbers are in your favor. i used to be a tech at pepboys and i think they charged $50 for 125 inspection to give you a idea. good luck
