k/n intake making loud hum

k/n intake making loud hum
I have a 97 f-150 4.6 . I recently put an k/n cold air intake on it. Every now and again I get a loud hum coming out of it. When I press on the acc. it seems to quiet down. It seems to make the noise when I'm driving and then slow down or when I'm ideling. Has anyone else ever came across this problem??
