Low Beam Failure-E Series

On my 1997 E-350, the low beams both go off intermittently. When the blinker stalk on the steering column is wiggled,
they come back. The HIGH BEAMS are 100% reliable.

Suggested areas to troubleshoot?

the blinker stock is called a multifunction switch and is probably shorted if you can wiggle it and they come back on need a new switch most likely
