Need help E150

Default Need help E150

Im a wheelchair guy so its kinda hard laying down, exhaust system on 1999 Ford E 150 4.6 W how many catalytic converters are there on it one person said there are two canisters on each side plus converter ?? also cigarette lighter died but accessory plug works any ideas thanks

The 4.2L and the 4.6L engines use dual three way catalytic converters. The converters have two sections to each one. #1 and #6 are the converters in the thumbnail below.

I would check fuses to the lighter. If you place the tip of a test light in the center of the outlet (do not touch sides) it should light. If it lights fuse is OK and the element is probably bad.
