Need help identifying this axle

I moved into my house about 3 years ago and this axle came with it. The previous owner kept telling me he was going to come get it, but never did, and frankly I'm thinking that after 3 years...he's not going to. :)

Anyway, I've looked all over the housing and can only find "OC 20" on it, and I opened it up to find "C 3" on the main drum (rotor? I'm not too familiar with the naming convention). I'm looking to find a positive ID so I know if it's worth anything and I can sell it, or if I'm better off just letting someone take it.

I'm posting on the Ford site because a friend of mine thought that it was a 9" ford rear axle and got pretty excited. I measured the diameter of the housing it it looked to be about 10". Inside I estimated it had 40 fins (whatever?) on the rotor. Sorry I can't be more specific...I'm into computers, not cars.

Thanks!
