i own a 2006 ford focus and the engine has blown up . Ford will not help with the repair bill of £3000 for a new engine . Going back to vauxhall where i owned a vectra for 10 years without any trouble at all. whoever recommended me to get a ford will now be my ex friend for a long time !!

 

You left out some information for us fellow readers...

1. Did you buy it new or used?

2. Was it driven like it was stolen?

3. Was it properly maintained?

4. What is actually "BLOWN UP"/wrong with the engine?

 

I can understand your frustration, but I can also see why Ford wouldn't warranty a 3-year-old car...

As Use Common Sense said, I am sure there is more to this story than we are getting.
