2021 Explorer hybrid high voltage battery warning
Hey everybody, first post here. I have a 21 explorer hybrid RWD. Started it today and the engine turned on and off multiple times followed by “stop safely now” error. Ford pass app showed high voltage battery warning. Has anyone else seen this before?
Thank you

If your owner's manual does not provide specific directions for this, your choices are limited to having a dealership check this out.
There are not that many folks trained on Hybrid maintenance and the dealership is required to have folks trained so , that would likely be your best move.

The high voltage battery provides the power to charge the 12 volt battery for the gasoline engine.
There is some problem with the high voltage battery system that won't allow it to provide for starting the gas engine.
You should not attempt to use the vehicle , but call your dealership and have them handle the problem.
That high voltage battery cranks out 600 volts and a set of manuals is absolutely no help with out the necessary protective equipment.
