Ranger Slipping driveline. leaking Transfer case?

I have a 2006 Ranger xlt 4x4 wth 4.0 V6 and a/t trans. The truck started shuttering mildly around 4xxx miles ago It seems to do it the most when im at a stop and beginning to accel. I brought it in to ford they couldnt detect anything wrong even though fluid was leaking from trans or transfer case(albeit a small amount).....??. So now that our snow has melted, I'm seeing fluid all over my driveway and truck is slipping under power regularly. It is not severe, but bad enough that towing or turning the wheel and gassing it will almost always cause a moderate shake/slip/shutter. The transfer case is leaking steadily now. Can a transfer case cause the slipping when im only in 2wd??[:@] (i am 95% of the time). BTW my 4x4 wont work in low range. I dont know what to do at this point but im sure im headed to ford this week again. I would like to have somebody's input before I head back. Thanks beforehand, Ryan

RE: Ranger Slipping driveline. leaking Transfer case?

Being a 2006 and only 4xxx miles on it, it should be under warranty. Keep banging your selling dealership in the head. Ford hates paying the dealership for "COME-BACKs". Have the Service Manager go on a test drive with you to show him/her the issue...
