skipping brakes

Default skipping brakes

I replaced the brakes in oct,08 Now i have a very hard skipping when i apply the brakes. What's wrong

Are you talking about a shaking when brakes are applied? If yes, the rotors are probably warped and need machined or replaced.

Default brakes (way2old)

no a very hard jerking. like they engage then quit rapidly

It still is probably the rotors are warped. If you drive slowly with your foot on the brake, does the jerking slow down with the speed of the car? If it does, the rotors are more than likely the cause.
