Took My Truck to a dealerfor valve seals & timing chain, and got it back with all the the vacume tore off. Dealer says thay are not responsable, so I called Ford motor co. They say dealer is independent they cant do anything. How do I get my truck fixed? Just because they use fords name doesent mean that ford backs up any work u pay to have done. should have had a shade tree shop do the work. Can any body help with any info?[:@]

Ifyou live in a area with a ABC TV station affiliate, contact their consumer affairs dept.
Here in D.C.,they are very effective in getting justice in such matters.

i'd contact ant news station and put them on the spot...most times that will get it fixed with no cost to you

Im working on that, They said that they are not sure if they want to investagate it.

Sorry I cannot offer any suggestions. I can only agree, "Sorry Ford Dealers" and sorry Ford Motor Company. I had problem and called Ford. [sm=badidea.gif] They always referred to dealers who were absolutely no help. Was like dog chasing tail. Pretty sad, you have my sympathy. [sm=boohoo.gif]
