stalling issue

My 1990 ProbeLX has done this 4 times now in the last 5 months, twice in the last week; I will be driving and the engine will quit, regardless of speed, temp., weather, or time of day. The engine still has spark, and will turn over, but not fire. I still have electrical power to all systems. After I leave the car alone for a number of hours (3-9) it will start up as if there was never a problem. The car has been tuned recently, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor etc. It will sometimes "hiccup" just before stalling. Since there is spark in the engine, is it fuel related, or does anyone have any experience with this issue?[/align]

RE: stalling issue

sounds like a fuel issue. your fuel pump may be starting to go out. when the car dies hit the shrader valve on the fuel line to the motot and see if there is pressure. if nothing sprays you may need a new pump or possible pressure regulator.
