supercharging or turboing my xr6

Default supercharging or turboing my xr6

hey all have recently purchased a 05 mk2 ba xr6 and i am trying to see which way is better to go supercharged or turbo? Also trying to do it as cost effective as possible. Can i have some suggestions please

I would have to say turbocharging would be easiest since the XR6 also comes in a turbo model using a Garrett GT3540 turbo.

how much do you think it will cost to turbo a standard 4L or am i best off putting a turbo motor in

Prices will vary greatly depending on so many variables such as:

1. How much boost verses engine soundness, internal stoutness, fuel delivery/management
2. Any type of component piping, brackets, and exhaust fabricating needed

It would probably be cheaper and easierto get a doner vehicle already equipment with a turbo and transplant it.
