Wanting to move from the factory P255/70 R16 to P265/75 R16.
They are a little wider and a bit taller. Hoping they wont rub.

Anyone make this upgrade on a Sport Trac 4x4?

 

If your buying from a retailer, not a bad idea to have them mount one and check for clearances.. Or are these used etc?

 

Should be no issues so hope this makes sense...

Going from a 255/70 to a 265/75 only increases your tire height by 1.5 " which equals 3/4" increase at the top and bottom of the tire. The section width (70 to 75) is only increased by about 1/2" which equals 1/4" on the inside and 1/4" on the outside.
