wheel cylinder or line to appears to be leaking how do i change it and do i have to bleed entire system or just both rear

 

i would always bleed the entire system...it can never hurt...

to remove the wheel cylinder, you have to remove all of the drum components,..(its been a while since ive done one, so i might not be dead on..but theyre all similar)..once everything is off...unscrew the line from the cylinder...then remvoe the mounting bolts for the WC..there shoudl be two, i think..the hardest part is just taking apart the braking components and putting them back on...do you have a drum brake tool?

 

it took me half an hour to get the tire off alone this car has not been well taken care of i think the drum has pressed on clips but it is so rusty that it is hard to tell if so how do i get those off this is going to be a pain help apreciated what tools will i need for the job i have never touched drum brakes before

 

If you've never worked with drum brakes, then its a good idea to pull the other wheel and drum off so you'll have an idea of what goes where. If there arent any clips holding your drum on, then tapping it with a hammer will usually free up the drum so it can be removed. As a word of advice, rear shoes and the hardware kits (springs, etc) are inexpensive, so are the wheel cylinders, go ahead and replace it all while youre there, if one side is bad then the other wont be much better.
