2000 Ford Windstar, 80K miles. This morning after dropping the kids off at school she started it up and shifted to D and nothing happened. I check the transmission fluid and its okay. She said that it was really starting to clunk when shifting from park to R. There seems to be a lot of play in the gear shift when in gear. Any ideas?

 

Linkage may b of tranny otherwise i wouldn't know unless its loose at steering coloum
