Where does this attach to?
 

I was driving the other day and my cruise control shut off. When I got home I found this hanging down and have no idea where or how to attach it. Any help would be welcome. Thanks

i think from the way it looks, like it connects to the firewall. should b a screw or small bolt that the u shaped end slides behind that will hold it in place. i think but not 100% sure

That is the parking brake switch. There should be a bolt on the side od the car where the parking brake is. It needs to be attached and adjusted so the light on the dash works properly.
