I just got a 1979 Ford F150 Ranger lwb 460. And im wondering what i can do to make it faster quicker and more powerful over all! And not spend a fortune! Im new here thanks a lot!

there is a lot that you can do. cam swap- call comp cams, tell them your specs and your requirments and they will figure out a cam that will be the best.
Carb swap- do you have a two barrel carb? if so, a four barrel would really create power. also there are probably bigger carbs avalable, but these will suck a lot of gas. outside the engine, you could regear the diffs- lower gearing will make the truck accelerate faster. http://www.onandoffroad4wheeldrive.c...atio_guide.htm
