Default 1987 Ford 150 shuts off

Anyone have any ideas, my f150 shuts off after it gets warm, then starts back up after it cools down ?

Those old ford trucks really only needed a fuel pump and distributor to run. If you scan codes and get a 14 or 18 (the codes), it's spark and TFI module/stator related. If you get a 41, start with the fuel pumps. There should be 2, one in the tank (either), and the rail pump. The rail pump should come on for 2 seconds when the key is turned on to pressurize the system. My guess is that the vibrating floor you've probably expericned for the last 4 years is the fuel pump burning out, and now it doesn't start. You should have 30-45 p.s.i. of fuel pressure, KOEO. A code 87 or 89 would confirm this.
