2003 taurus fast running
 

I am not sure these posts are getting thru, new here. I have a 2003 duratec taurus that only slows down when i brake, Returns to 500-600 rpm at idle but stays at 1500 rpm at 40 mph for an extended time. I replaced fuel filter, plugs, battery, brakes, a vac hose keeps falling off & re-attatching it.
