Hi, I have finally reached the point in my life where I can begin to restore a vehicle. After thinking for years on what I would like to restore, I decided I would like to restore a Ford 61-67 econoline pickup.

I would really like to get on to rebuild that has the 144 cid, or 170 cid engine. I want to rebuild the engine myself. I really like the straight 6 engine... I want to keep the vehicle as close to original as possible.

Any advice, opinions etc, on where I can attain one of these would be great. I live in the dallas texas area, and dont want to venture to far out from there. I have checked craigslist. Also Ebay. Does anyone know any forum or any way of getting one to rebuild.

I would also be interested in getting an engine first, either 144, or 170 cid.
