Welcome to the site..

How many miles since the build? Stock other than the overbore and timing pieces? Chrome Moly or Cast rings? Head work done, any other build infor. that may help. Can you see any oil washed area's around the piston tops?

I'd suspect the chrome rings/seating.

On a hard accelleration bringing the RPM's up high,, then back out of the throttle 'completely' for a few seconds,, and then another hard throttle snap does it give out a sizeable puff of smoke? If the bores weren't spec. or were honed with a too coarse set of stones, or over honed, the rings may never seat. Or if the ring end gaps weren't set or aligned correctly. Were the ring gaps matched to the bores for size/bore fit before assembly? If you have access to a bore scope, or can pull the plugs and roll the pistons on down to get a look at the outer edges of the tops, look to see if you can see 'clean' alluminim or larger 'washed' area's around the piston tops the to see if the rings are pumping/bypassing oil.

Generally if it were a valve guide issue, or stem seals, the engine would smoke some on startup as the hot oil that had/would run down the guides after some hot soak or sit time from leaking seals would burn off on initail or restart start. But usually not as visable on accelleration unless the valves/guides/seals were pretty loose, and usually not all cylinders unless the work done affected all the valves/guides.. Are you getting oil on 'all' the plugs/threads? THe piston edges may tell the whole story, or if a single cylinder or two. If the pistons are topped with oilly carbon, but not washed, look more towards the valve work done..
