92 FORD TEMPO white smoke, no power...NEED HELP!
Well, heres the deal. I have a 92 Ford Tempo 4cyl. It has no power.. white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I disconnected the cad converter and started it up... A **** LOAD of fluid was spraying out.. white liquid. I just replaced plugs distributor wires headgasket and PVC or PCV valve.. whatever its called. It sat for about 6 months... its my g/f's car.. so I have no history of the vehicle or why the hell it stopped running in the first place. I have no clue how to fix this problem or what I should do. We have to go on a trip to WV on the 16th of July.. so I need to figuire it out and fix it by then.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATFULLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Aaron |

I keep looking online at this problem and every place else is telling me it would be the intake gasket. I just replaced the head gasket with a new one... so its not that.. I'M POSITIVE.

It might be a good idea to ask her if the engine ever overheated or "The RED LIGHT " came on.
If that happened,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,replacing head gaskets with a head assy that has warped due to overheating can't do much except consume your time and $$$. Before going further , can you get some kind of answer for us , thanks ? If it did overheat, you have 2 choices. Either have the head shaved by a machine shop or just get a rebuilt replacement head and install it |
