ok i did not do my homework . here is what i did my f150 had a 4.9 engine i swapped in a 95 5.0 with auto trans i even swapped the wire harrness & computor. my problem is cali smog laws say you cannot swap an older engine into a newer car. the 95 5.0 should be the same as a 96 5.0 but how much different is the smog and computor ? i donnot want to go back to the 4.9.
