Auto start hack??
I have a 2018 Ford explorer XLT.
I do not have the automatic start remote but do you have access to auto start menus in the dash display.
When I got the vehicle they said this model does not have automatic start.
However, the other day I was getting out of the vehicle with an arm load of things. Shut the door and locked it with the key fob and as I did that I fumbled some items And ended up hitting the buttons randomly a few more times. The vehicle all of a sudden started. It confused me so I shut it off and tried to replicate it… After some test I found that if it is unlocked you can hit the lock button then the unlock button then the lock button then the unlock button in quick session and the vehicle will automatic start.
Have any of you ever heard of this?
