Dome light not working 2008 f150
 

HELP. Dome light not working in my 2008 F150. Bulb and fuse are good. Light came on the other day while I was driving, but a few seconds later it cut off again. Can anyone help me?

That light is mostly controlled by a body control lighting module. The door switches send a signal to a control module and the module tells the light to turn on or off. Will it work with the manual control next to the headlight switch?

The passenger door hasn't cut the light on when opened for quite some time. I've tried WD40 in the latch, but that didn't work. I initially thought maybe both door switches were stuck, but the main switch next to the light in the ceiling won't cut it on and the manual dimmer control next to the headlight control turns on the cargo lights and adjusts the dash lights, but doesn't affect the dome light.
