Hello All! I'm new to Fords, a retired MOPAR Guy from AZ. I purchase a 1988 E250 5.8; MPI and automatic (C6).
I trying to solve a gas fumes issue near the tank. Ther is a hose going to the top of the tank (Can't see for sure) but the odre is very stron there. I found a badly kinked hoes (0.312) leading from the top (second hob=se 0 to the rear od the van and connectoe to a steel tub ending up 2the charcoal canister. I since remove the bad section and spliced it back together. I ran it for a few minutes, check the gas cap and no noticable vaccum surge. Do you think I found and repaired the problem? What do you think about that other "Vent" line?
