Default ford 500 skylight and engine mount issues

I have a 2007 ford 500 with two problems, one I think I fixed was that the skylight drains were plugged and overflowed leaving my carpet on the driver side wet. I took apart the floor, lower dash and door trim to expose what I determined to be the drain which I then proceeded to snake then blew compressed air thru, seems to have worked it self out. My new problem is that the engine torque arrestor is wore out and I can't believe the brilliant engineers at ford didn't see this coming, you have to replace the entire cast aluminum mount which contains the broken rubber grommet for a list price of $275. Any others with this experience please post your thoughts.
