HELP!!!

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum and I need your help. I purchased the 2005 Ford Focus ZX3 SE and my brakes are giving me a lot of trouble. They are constintly making squeaking noises and they do this funky vibrating thing. Does anyone else have this problem. I barely drive my car and when i do it drives me nuts!

It is still under warrenty and they service men wont fix it. They keep telling me nothing is wrong with it.

Do any of you have advice?

RE: HELP!!!

Can you take it to a different dealer and have them verify that info. Ask them for a list of all Technicial Service Bullitens

perhaps when you return to the dealership, ask for the general superintendant, or the GM....if they still fight you, ask for the GM regional office...and tell them you will call them and ask what they think about it...that almost always get results...

RE: HELP!!!

the rotors being warped wouldnt cause squeaking, it would just cause quick pad wear....if the rotors are glazed, and appear to be a bluish color...then they may make the pads glaze, and cause a squeal.

Your mechanics are telling you that there is no problem? Have they heard the squeaking noises? Hmm, strange indeed. It looks like you need new rotors and pads. But, i'm amazed at how your serviceman didn't mention anything to you. You must go to a different dealer and verify that info for sure.
