Hey 4.5 gen Escape owners-
 

I just purched a new '23 Escape Active AWD. Second Escape- I also owned a 2012 XLT, pretty loaded and problem free, and its still in the family. Fifth new Ford along with several used ones over the years. My family has worked for FoMoCo for decades. That said, my last new '18 F-150 was traded in for this new '23. Love the car and its pretty loaded (equipment group 200A, tech package two, cold weather package). I am aware of the 1.5 cyl. Dragon engine coolant intrusion issue, at 2,100 milles, no issues with it so far. I realize it's 3 cyl. engine with cylinder shut-off yanking a 3,355 lb SUV around and drive it accordingly. The biggest concern I have at this point is that the center info screen sometimes dies when I start the vehicle. I shut the engine off, open the and close the door, restart the car and everythings fine. This happened a couple times maybe the first couple of weeks, however now it happens a couple of times every day. Any thoughts on my problem (wich is becoming more frequent)? I look forward to sharing info about our vehicles!
