Default Newbie from UK

Hi guys, im a Ford nut from the UK, but im currently in FL for a year.

Back in the UK i own a Serria Cosworth (dont know u guys have heard of them?). Its modified quite a bit and i go to a lot of the shows in the UK etc.

While im in the US i would'nt mind coming to some Shows around the FL area, so u know when they are etc?

Also one of my big questions is im looking to buy a car. However do u guys now exactley what i need in FL to get on the road with a car? If i buy a car do i need to make sure it has a yearly test done to it? tax etc? I know u need insurance etc. but anything else?

Thanks
Rhys

Hi Ramrod48

Im over in Tampa! Been out in rental car today having a look around the area.

Im only looking to buy a cheap old car about $1300 max really as i spent too much on my Ford Cosworth back in the UK lol.

Is there many cars Shows in FL coming up?

Cosworth is name of a UK performance maker, i know they are in the US too. I have a Ford Serria Cosworth (performance version of a serria) Stock they are 204bhp but with a few mods that i have shes currently at 400bhp. The engine is 2ltr turbo. I will post pics up if u guys want.

Yea, wasn't that the 2.5L GM 4 cylinder. Seen it in a Vega or sunfire something like that, was a wicked looking dual over head cam engine
